· ORIENTATION
SESSION
The new academic session began with
the orientation sessions for all classes – Primary to Grade VIII to
familiarize the parents with the philosophy of the institution.
Principal in her discourse guided parents on effective parenting in
coalition of Academics with Activities for the holistic development
of the child.
· STUDENTS
COUNCIL ELECTIONS
The elections of the student council
give children a taste of leadership, suffrage and managerial skills.
It also prepares them to take their rightful place as citizens of
the country. The first round of Interaction was conducted for the
nominees to justify their nominations. The nominees had to give
speech and face Question put up by teachers and students.
In the second round the campaigning
was done by the nominees.
The third and the final Round was the
voting by the students. The Head Boy and Head Girl, House Captains
and Sports Captain were elected through secret ballot system and
electronic voting system.
JUNE
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
The Students Council of--------------
members was constituted on the basis of academic excellence and
leadership qualities and Students’ voting. The first Students
Council was administered oath and given badges and Sashes by our
esteemed director Mr. Suryakant Shah , Asst. Director Mr. Amit Shah,
Mrs. Bhaveesha Madam and Mrs. Geeta Sikhdar(Chief Guest for the
occasion). The Principal handed over the “Constitution” to the
newly elected Students Council.
OPEN DAY / PTM
Interaction with the parents is a
regular feature for this on every Saturday PTM is held and on last
day of every month. Open Day is held to discuss about the progress
of the child. On open days the glimpses of the happenings are
shown on screen in each class as well as in computer lab which they
have not witnessed.
SEPTEMBER
TEACHERS DAY –
STUDENTS (5th September)
Students staged a cultural
extravaganza to pay tribute to their beloved teachers by giving each
teacher a card made by the students themselves. Senior students
became “Student teachers” and took classes and experienced joy and
pains of teaching.
TEACHERS DAY (6th
September)
In respect and honour of teachers, the
Management of Ambe Group of Schools, organized a get-together in
Sanskriti Auditorium and various teachers of Ambe Group of School
performed on the stage and gave honour to all teachers and praised
them for their work and devotion for the school. “Best teacher
Award” and “Achievement Certificate” were also handed over to some
teachers as an achievement for giving their best to the School.
HINDI DIVAS
CBSE Unit organized Hindi Divas on 18th
September, 2008, in order to familiarize the students with the
National language Hindi. The children participated enthusiastically
and recited Poems and presented skits on different topics taken up
by the different classes. The performance of the students was
amazing and was appreciated by everybody.
EXTRA CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
(CONDUCTED TILL 30TH SEPT)
Extra curricular activities empower
students to make their own decision and help them gain a vital
experience and skills to lead them on the path of their future.
Student involved in extra curricular activities are more likely to
become leaders, more willing to complete task, more willing to voice
opinions and more likely to do well in school. Extra curricular
activities are also a good way to explore social, political and
other carrier interest.
FINE ARTS ACTIVITY
To enhance the development of motor
skills following art activities are conducted – Tear and Paste,
Collage Making, Nature Drawing, Draw and Color.
To platform the creative ideas of the
student accompanied with art and awareness about social happenings
the activity of Poster and Slogan was conducted. On the spot
topics given to the students were – Drugs, Global Warming, Peace and
Conserve Natural Resources.
PERFORMING
ARTS
For the recreation and to test their
mental readiness following activities were held musical chair,
pack your bag, dumb charades.
To create the love for music and dance
and to respect the pride of nation following activities were held –
Group Singing, Solo Singing, Group Dance, and Patriotic Dance.
Nowadays in this complex and busy
lives of people we are drifting apart from our religious culture.
In order to develop a bonding and awareness about our rich cultural
heritage CBSE conducts Shloka Chanting activity and Folk Dance
activity.
LITERARY
ACTIVITIES
Participating in Group Discussion,
Icon studying, street plays and debates students learn
responsibility, problem solving and communication. The horizon of
knowledge expands and powers to comprehend things develop in the
better way.

To improve and strengthen the memory
of a child and help them be fluent in speech following activities
were conducted – Memory Game, Hindi Recitation, English
Recitation, Story telling, finding the solution, Creative Writing,
Word Ladder. |
